John Timpane is the former Books Editor and Theater Critic for the Philadelphia Inquirer. His work has appeared in Wild River Review, Write Now Philly, Cleaver, Sequoia, North of Oxford, Apiary, Painted Bride Quarterly, Schuylkill Valley Journal, Per Contra, Vocabula Review, Truthdig, and elsewhere. Among his books is a chapbook, Burning Bush (Judith Fitzgerald/Cranberry Tree, 2010). He lives in New Jersey.
