Kait Heacock builds community around books. She has worked in book publicity for nearly a decade, representing independent and academic presses. Outside of work, she sits on the Advisory Committee for the Mineral School artist’s residency, is the West editor for Joyland, and regularly reviews books and interviews writers for the Women’s Review of Books. Her shorter work can be read in literary places from Literary Hub to The Millions and in her debut story collection, Siblings and Other Disappointments.
